  • Summer School at York University, Toronto:

    The Summer School at York University in Toronto consists of one regularly offered Summer Course which will be also available for Canadian students. The credits earned during this course can be recognised by the home institution.

    Comment: Since the beginning of the course overlaps with the second week of the examination period at Bonn-Rhine-Sieg-University of Applied Sciences (BRSU) one or two exams will need to be done out of schedule. 
  • Summer School at University of New Brunswick, Fredericton

    The Summer School at University of New Brunswick in Fredericton consists of two regularly offered Summer Courses of the partner institution which will be also available for Canadian students. The credits earned during these courses can be recognised by the home institution as two regular Bachelor courses (6ECTS).

Summer Schools in Europe

  • Summer School at Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, Sankt Augustin

    The Summer School at BRSU is offering an intensive course for students from Canadian or other partner universities. The course is condensed to three weeks of lectures including a language and culture course in basic German during the month of June. However, BRSU students interested in the course are welcome to participate. This course is a full CS course and can be recognised for credit at the home universities (6ECTS).

    Course title: Data Mining

    Comments: Students should arrive on a working day the week before lectures start. They will not be able to get the keys for their rooms on a sunday or a holiday (there will be three official holidays in June 2011: Ascension Day on June 2nd, Pentecost on June 13th, Corpus Christi on June 23rd). Accommodation can only be rented on a monthly basis. That means students will rent their room/appartment (210-240€) for one month and will have to move out on thursday, June 30. 

  • Summer School at the University of Crete, Heraklion

    The Summer School at University of Crete (UoC) will take place in July. It is open to students from BRSU, UoC and from our Canadian partner universities. The course will be a full CS course which can be recognised at the home institution (6ECTS).
